[ she doesn't even bother sending a reply to let him know she's on her way, just heads over. it's about fifteen minutes before she announces her arrival with her signature knock at his door. ]

[ the door swings open promptly, because of course she was on her way. clint knows how she operates. ]

[ she has no idea either, but even if he ends up asking her to leave five minutes later, she needed to see him, the real him, not one manipulated by either of their nightmares. she needed to see if he was all right. ]

[ she looks past him, into his room, a silent can i come in and an attempt to see how he's been faring since waking. ]

[ he steps aside in one smooth motion. it's a silent invitation, a much better one than the last time she came to visit.

the game changed since then. they've got...well, there are other things to worry about than what she isn't telling him. ]

[ Rosella has been quiet. This, she's willing to admit to even herself: why wouldn't she? A visit to the infirmary, then staying at Alayne's side. It's been long enough that the wound on Rosella's cheek has scabbed over, but it hasn't healed just yet, a thin red line from cheekbone to temple.

She doesn't bother to knock, just sits outside his door, knees tucked to her chest and waits for him. ]

[ he wants to sleep but he can't, so there's a long period where he just lies on his bed and thinks his way through what's just happened. eventually, he decides venturing out of his room might be beneficial, if only because he's hungry and maybe ianto's hanging around the coffee machine.

what he isn't expecting is to nearly trip over--

[ Rosella, to her credit, doesn't start. She just blinks up at him, eyes wide and expressionless, and slowly stands — how long she's been there is... a little up for debate.

Her fists curl then uncurl, but it's not to ready herself for a fight. Muscle cramps. ]
